When it comes to buying a foundation, what factors do you consider? Are the ingredients in your makeup something you consider?
At The Beauty Rooms, we recommend mineral makeup to all of our clients. Not only is it free of harmful or irritating ingredients, when you but Jane Iredale foundation you are investing in your skin health.
Similarly to eating junk food on your way home from the gym, it doesn’t make sense to apply non-mineral makeup on top of your medical grade skin care products, or your freshly treated skin.
What make’s mineral makeup so healthy?
The main difference between mineral foundation and the foundation you can pick up at a pharmacy or a department store, is the ingredients.
Mineral makeup is FREE of all parabens, fragrances, talc, oils or other harsh chemicals that can irritate sensitive or acne prone skin.
Mineral makeup also has a larger molecular weight than other makeup on the market. This means that the makeup molecules will ‘sit’ on top of the skin rather than ‘sink in’ or absorb into to the skin. This prevents your pores from becoming clogged with product & allows the skin to breathe naturally.
We love mineral makeup because it is the healthiest choice for your skin, especially after a skin treatment. You have to protect your investment into your skin health & that includes your makeup.

Dream Tint - Tinted Moisturiser
Formulated with lightweight minerals, this tinted moisturizer not only hydrates and provides sheer to medium coverage. Perfect for sensitive skin &/or those that want a light coverage and the “I’m not wearing any makeup look”.
Broad spectrum sun protection with SPF 15 UVB/UVA.

Pure-Pressed Base - Pressed Mineral FoundatioN
Weightless sheer matte foundation in warm, neutral & cool tones. A pressed mineral foundation that is slightly more sheer and matte than the loose powders. This foundation is the perfect option for clients that want to reduce shine and oil throughout the day. The sheer matte powder can also be layered to increase the level of coverage. If you are fond of a liquid makeup base, the pressed powder can be used as a setting powder for any of the liquid foundations.

An SPF foundation, powder and concealer with broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sun protection. Either SPF 20 or SPF 15 depending on shade (26 shades).

Liquid Minerals – Liquid Foundation
A light-weight hydrating formula that reflects light for a luminous finish. Perfect for dry or mature skin. We recommend paring this foundation with the AmazingBase Loose minerals for fuller coverage, luminous finish and added SPF protection. It can also be paired with the PowderMe Mineral SPF for a sheer- medium coverage, more matte finish and SPF protection.
